The XXXII International Congress of Genealogical and Heraldic Sciences will take place in Glasgow, Scotland from 10th to 13th August this year. Interesting lectures will be held in the Trades Hall which was designed by Robert Adam in 1791, a year before his dead. As a matter of course Pro Heraldica will also be present during this three days to gain new impressions.
Furthermore the head of our research department Dr. Rolf Sutter and his coworker Clemens Kech will lecture about interesting topics. In total over 50 papers with different topics will be given during the whole congress by professional genealogists and heraldists from all over the world.
The congress concludes with a sightseeing tour trough western and central Scotland. Especially heraldry sights will be visited. Furthermore, the event in Glasgow is overlapping with the Edinburgh festival, a great opportunity to extend the visit in Scotland.
We are looking forward for the Congress! Do not miss the blog posts about the three intstuctive days afterwards.
